Prolific Enrichment Learning Labs
Learning Labs Microschool
Project-Based STEAM Learning for Homeschool Families in Tucson
Hands-On Learning. Real Projects. Confident Learners.
At Prolific Creation Studios, our Learning Labs Microschool is designed for homeschool families seeking a creative, structured, and deeply engaging learning environment. Rather than traditional worksheets or lecture-based instruction, students learn through project-based STEAM experiences that connect math, science, language arts, history, and the arts in meaningful, real-world ways.
Learning is active, collaborative, and purposeful — every child is seen, supported, and encouraged as they grow academically, creatively, and socially.
Program Structure
Learning Labs runs from 9:00 AM – 2:30 PM, providing a full day of hands-on learning, collaboration, and exploration.
Students are grouped by age to ensure instruction and projects are developmentally appropriate:
Ages 5–7: Foundational learning through hands-on projects, storytelling, early math exploration, and creative play.
Ages 8–12: Deeper project work, critical thinking, collaborative problem solving, and interdisciplinary STEAM learning.
Ages 13+: Students participate in learning labs while also working independently with a tutor during portions of the day, allowing them to focus on individualized academic progress, assignments, and deeper study.
This structure allows younger students to explore through guided projects while older students receive both enrichment and academic support.
How Learning Labs Works
Learning Labs are not a traditional classroom. Instruction is organized into hands-on learning blocks, where students explore big ideas through projects, experiments, discussion, and creative work.
Each lab session is designed to:
• Encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and collaboration
• Connect academic skills to real-life application
• Allow students to learn actively through building, creating, and exploring
Small group sizes allow instructors to adapt instruction, guide students individually, and meet learners where they are while still encouraging growth and independence.
What Students Learn

Skill-building through puzzles, logic challenges, games, and real-world problem-solving.
